RV SOLAR ELECTRIC

WHAT TO DO TO GET SOLAR EQUIPPED
By Noel & Barbara Kirkby, Authors of RVer's Guide To Solar Battery Charging

If you plan on enjoying your RV away from RV park hookups, we can help you become ELECTRICALLY INDEPENDENT. It is NOT difficult or complicated to get started NOW. We can remember what it was like when we had just one solar panel and one battery on our RV. You could start with just one unit like we did or get fully set up. It comes down to how much can you afford now. Remember it is easy to upgrade later. Most folks have found it is not critical that you determine all your normal RV loads to make a wise choice.

IF YOU HAVE ROOM FOR 1 OR 2 BATTERIES IN YOUR RIG
A two battery system is fine while using AC & DC appliances except the microwave oven, which requires at least 4 batteries for good rapid cooking. More batteries give you greater ability to use your 12 volt appliances without running out of power.

IF YOUR HAVE ROOM FOR 4 OR MORE BATTERIES
If you can locate space for 4 batteries, you will enjoy the full functioning of all your RV appliances. TV, satellite, computers and the microwave. Our two panels along with driving and the generator as our back-up, gives us all the energy we can use.

NOEL'S PACKAGE
People would often ask what equipment we were using. It inspired us to put together a KIT so that it would supply everything for a powerful AC & DC system. This is what 75% of our experienced RV friends use. They note that the monitors and controls are "single push button" with a complicated menu to program. Using two panels gives them the ability to stay for a week in one spot while using electricity freely. If you are not conservative or wish to spend the whole season in one spot, then you might opt for a 4 panel arrangement. A 40 ft RV has more lights and TV sets, therefore the bigger your rig, the more power you will consume. See what is included in Noel's Package.

For current pricing of Noel's package, call 1 - 800 - 999 - 8520.

The only other consideration would be a RADIANT HEATER. If you frequently RV where the weather gets cold, be sure to select the Olympian 6100 unit.
